Catlin Tucker's New SAT High-Frequency Vocabulary Words, Lists 1-5

For teachers who may be helping students prepare to take the SAT, you should check this out...

The new SAT tests students on vocabulary in the context of reading passages and in precision in the language and writing sections according to SAT/ACT Prep Online.  On their site, you can find a list of 262 words that students must know to be adequately prepared for the vocabulary portions of this assessment.

So, the amazing Catlin Tucker has created a YouTube playlist of tutorial videos that are 6-8 minutes long for students to learn the vocabulary words that are on the new SAT.  In addition to the videos, she has also put together corresponding Quizlets for students to review, practice, and test themselves on these words.

I'm not sure yet how many videos she is planning on producing, but five are out now; so I put together this Google Drawing with links to these first five videos and the corresponding Quizlets that you can easily share with students in Google Classroom

For more from Catlin, follow her on Twitter @Catlin_Tucker, subscribe to her YouTube Channel, & read her books and her blog!

Thank you, Catlin, for making these awesome resources!!!
